Saturday, June 7th - Military Ball at the Calgary Eagle

Sunday, June 8th - Pride Parade
It starts at 12 noon - at 8th Street and runs along Stephen Ave Mall and finishes with the Gala at the Olympic Plaza.
Due to the lack of interest and resources Rocky Mountain Bears have decided not to do a float for this years parade.
The parade is open to anyone who wishes to march, so if that is your wish just show up, if you want to carry a group banner or Bear flag, please communicate that wish and someone will try to accommodate you. It's fine to just show up and watch the parade as well. Our events guy Brad will be giving more details as the date approaches.
 
June 27th - 29th Weekend - ARGRA Rodeo
Check www.ARGRA.org for more details. 
This is a great event, lots of really hot cowboys, many of which are also really Hot Bears!!! GRRRrrrrrr!

July Events

Saturday, July 5/08 - Bears do Stampede.  Meet your fellow Bears at the statue in front of the Big 4 Building at 12, noon and again at 3:00 pm.

Monday, July 14 - Bear Coffee Night @ Good Earth Cafe at 7:30pm (1502 - 11 Street SW)

Thursday, July 17 - General Meeting at Money Pennies - 7:30pm (1742 10th Avenue SW)

Saturday, July 26th - Bear Bar Night - at the Calgary Eagle after 10:00pm (424A 8th Avenue SE) 

August Events

Monday, August 11th - Bear Coffee Night @ Good Earth Cafe at 7:30pm (1502 - 11 Street SW)

 Bear Campout at Bow valley Provincial Park - Aug. 22 & 23 weekend.

There are three adjacent sites booked, site A19, A20 and A21.
We're told the sites are really nice, they are very well treed, they are large with unobstructed views and access to the river.
They will accomdate 6 to 8 tents.   The cost is dependant on the number of people who attend, and all costs are shared equally amongst those attending;
it is always very reasonable.  You need to RSVP by Aug. 12/08, please RSVP via e-mail to:  gerrynbrad@shaw.ca

Saturday, August 30th - Bear Bar Night - at the Calgary Eagle after 10:00pm (424A 8th Avenue SE)

Please note:
 All Bearback Calgary events are open to any visitors to our city, and even anyone who just wants to "check us out."
If you are interested in attending an event, please contact the event Host and they will be more than pleased to supply you with directions and/or information.
